Have taken Amoxicillin many times for UTI. It gives me relief within 6-8 hours. The burning sensation and the bladder spasms usually subside within that time frame. There are not many antibiotics I can take, but this is one of my favorites for UTIs.

My doctor prescribed me Amoxil for a UTI, had to take it twice a day for a week. I took this medicine regularly and drank a lot of water. I was completely healed of the UTI in a weeks time, I did not experience any side effects as well, which I am so thankful about.

My roommate was recently suffering from a bladder infection and so we rushed to the hospital and the doctor prescribed him Amoxil and in a couple of days, he was doing great. And thankfully, he had no side effects what so ever.
